Amanda Crossland

Development Relations Manager
Combining her love of teaching, sales, and stewarding relationships, along with her passion for children, animals, and a vibrant community, Amanda embarked on a fundraising career more than 15 years ago in support of literacy, community assets, mentor relationships and nature conservation.  At Academic Opportunity of Arizona (AOA), she looks forward to working as a team to increase school tuition scholarships, develop exciting community collaborations and meaningful extracurricular activities for all AOA student beneficiaries.

She enjoys meeting new people, engaging children with learning opportunities and giving back to her community through volunteer service and social engagement.  She graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and frequently participates in continuing education workshops.  At home and in her spare time, Amanda enjoys quality time with her three rescue dogs, baking, crafting, reading, live theatre, martial arts and hiking.  However, her favorite times are those she gets to spend with family.
